Manager - Application Services Engineer | Riyadh, SA

Job Description The role is responsible for day-to-day application service management and operations to ensure service availability, optimal performance, and security of systems including operating systems, and other related services. Application Operations Engineer will participate in system capacity evaluation and planning. Responsibilities

1. Investigate and coordinate the resolution of potential and actual application/service problems.
2. Ensure that operational documentation for the system is fit for purpose and current.
3. Advise on the correct and effective use of the system.
4. Review application/system software updates and identify those that merit action.
5. Use application/system management software and tools to collect logs and analyze them.
6. Carry out agreed application operational procedures, including application configuration, installation, and maintenance.
7. Use application management tools to collect and report application performance statistics and error logs.
8. Automate application tasks, processes, and deployments in the best possible ways.
9. Monitor service components of the applications.
10. Receive and respond to routine requests for support, and investigate in accordance with established procedures.
11. Assist users in their work and issues, perform application administration tasks, and resolve issues.
12. Assist in the investigation and resolution relating to integrations with the application to the extent possible.
13. Provide knowledge transfer and training to other application services engineers.
14. Ensure/participate in implementation, adherence, and enforcement of the SAMA Cybersecurity Framework and other related bodies required for D360 Bank to remain compliant with policies, procedures, practices, training, reporting, personal due diligence, and vigilance within departmental/unit activities and operations.

Qualifications Preferred Qualifications A tertiary-level qualification from an internationally recognized institution in computer science or related subject area. Years & Nature of Experience

1. 3 to 5 years of equivalent experience where required competencies and experience have been demonstrated.
2. An experienced professional who can deliver on difficult technical tasks.
3. Project implementation experience.
4. Self-sufficient at work and capable of managing small project responsibilities.
5. Provided technical supervision to junior staff in the past.
