Application Developer

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Biometric Systems Developer to join our team. This role requires expertise in developing and supporting biometric applications that involve fingerprint, face, iris, palm, and other modalities. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of biometric standards, matching algorithms, and secure communication protocols, alongside proficiency in Java/.NET development and integration with complex systems. Key Responsibilities:

1. Biometric Systems Development and Support:
   • Develop and support applications related to biometric systems, including modalities such as fingerprint, face, iris, and palm.
   • Ensure the seamless integration and functionality of biometric systems.
2. Compliance with Biometric Standards:
   • Work with biometric standards such as ISO/IEC 19794 , NIST , and ANSI/NIST-ITL to ensure interoperability and compliance.
   • Implement and maintain interoperability protocols for seamless system communication.
3. Biometric Matching and Algorithms:
   • Understand and work with biometric matching and deduplication algorithms to enhance accuracy and reliability.
4. Secure Authentication and Authorization:
   • Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, including SAML , OAuth , and OpenID Connect .
5. Software Development and Middleware:
   • Develop solutions using Java and .NET with hands-on experience in application development.
   • Configure and manage middleware platforms such as JBoss and Tomcat .
6. Web Services and APIs:
   • Work with web servers like IIS and Apache to ensure efficient application hosting.
   • Design and implement APIs and integrations with external systems.
7. Secure Communication Protocols (Desirable):
   • Leverage knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) , certificate management, and secure communication protocols like and SSH for robust system security.

• Hands-on Experience: Proven experience in developing and supporting biometric applications with a focus on various modalities (fingerprint, face, iris, palm, etc.).
• Standards Expertise: Familiarity with biometric standards, including ISO/IEC 19794 , NIST , and ANSI/NIST-ITL .
• Technical Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of biometric matching and deduplication algorithms.
• Proficiency in Java and .NET application development.
• Working knowledge of Web Services (e.g., IIS, Apache Web Server).
• Middleware experience with platforms such as JBoss and Tomcat .
• Experience in designing and working with APIs and system integrations.
