Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
- Attend weekly internal coordination meetings and prepare minutes of the meetings
- Attend weekly progress meetings with the Consultants and also prepare and present the weekly progress status to them
- Review daily site progress reports before the submission to the Consultant
- Prepare draft delay or progress-related letters, which are to be sent to Subcontractors/Consultant
- Develop a baseline program with resource loading
- Work out recovery, mitigation, and other schedules
- Monitor and track overall project progress and write up reports to monitor the same for improving the progress rate at sites
- Monitor and track the progress of subcontractors/suppliers and review their progress reports and programs
- Prepare EOT in case of any delay in the construction period
- Review all the reports that the Planning Engineers prepare
- Supervise, guide, and train the Planning Engineers who are assigned under the project
- Minimum 9 years of experience as a Senior Planning Engineer in the construction industry within UAE
- Experience with project costing, contract administration, and construction claims is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other project management tools
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Solid understanding of basic construction techniques and principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
