Sr Manager/ Manager Software Quality Assurance

• Responsible for establishing a corporate Quality Assurance Process/System and a QA Team that promotes Customer Satisfaction and that positively impacts the financial performance of Matrix/Softpak.
• Champion continuous improvement efforts and defect reduction initiatives to make existing Quality Management System more Effective and Efficient.
• Provide regular direction, mentorship and coaching to QA team members.
• Develop and derive dynamic test strategy and approach that supports existing different software development methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, Iterative etc. And take a hands-on approach to implement that strategy.
• Provide Quality Assurance leadership and be ultimately responsible for ensuring product quality.
• Be highly committed to implement world class automation testing.
• Evaluate and implement appropriate software testing tools (defect reporting, integration and traceability, test-cycle-specific tools, debuggers, profilers, data-generators, data analysis tools, statistical regression and charting tools).
• Plan, organize and monitor the execution of work assignments for the Quality Assurance Team as and when required.
• Lead efforts to develop, document, and implement applicable QA processes and procedures to provide more effective quality methods within the function in support of providing quality products.
• Establish and maintain good/healthy working relationships with other functions - Software Development, PMO, SPI etc. and with internal and external customers as well.
• Liaison with human resources manager to ensure hiring of top quality human resources and their skills and career development.
• Recommend appropriate technical/non-technical trainings for his/her team.
• Organize in-house trainings, workshops and take appropriate measures to ensure domain understanding and facilitate technical grooming of functional managers/ associate managers.
• Participate in planning and reviewing the annual budget for expenses and resources to facilitate achievement of organization's business objectives.
