SENIOR STAFF NURSE / STAFF NURSE (OPD)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Staff Nurse/Staff Nurse to join our Outpatient Department (OPD) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, ensuring smooth operations within the department and delivering excellent clinical and customer service standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the OPD, adhering to clinical protocols and standards.
- Assist in patient assessments, consultations, and treatments in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient progress as per the care plan.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, post-visit care, and health promotion.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies.
- Support the smooth functioning of the OPD by managing workflow, equipment, and supplies.
- Act as a mentor and role model for junior staff, promoting a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with accreditation and safety standards.
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing, with a valid Malaysian Nursing Board license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in an OPD or similar setting.
- Excellent clinical skills, patient care abilities, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and hospital protocols is an advantage.
