React Js Developer

Aspen Technology, a US-based company, is looking to establish several ventures in Pakistan and other Asian regions to drive digitalization in the B2B and B2C market. Initially, we are looking to establish an organizational structure in Pakistan under the name of Cbeyond Private Limited to drive platform development, product development, marketing, and other supporting organizational structures. In the platform development group, we are looking for senior full stack developers in React.JS (having some experience in React-Native and mobile development is a plus) to lead the team in driving the end-to-end platform architecture and development. This will be a Pakistan-based B2B and B2C technology platform connecting buyers with suppliers through an intelligent end-to-end solution. As a leader and senior developer, you will manage the entire front end and back end, developing products and delivering a technical roadmap that balances the need for speed to market, scalability, and differentiation. You will take end-to-end responsibility for the product from technology selection to architecture design and delivery as per agreed timelines. The candidate should have a broader understanding of available open-source software/tools and be able to evaluate the pros and cons of utilizing these open-source software stacks/tools within the platform architecture. The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Computer Science, with development experience of 4 to 7 years focused on React development, preferably with leading product-based startups, or a strong inclination to work with a startup. An advanced technological skill set and a demonstrated history with technology are essential, along with being a strategic thinker and an effective communicator.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated React.js front-end developer to join our growing company. You will work as part of a team designing and developing high-quality software solutions for web applications and mobile apps using React. As a React.js developer, you will implement new features and maintain existing code using React and other standard tools in the React ecosystem. Your duties will include designing software solutions to meet project requirements, maintaining and refactoring existing code, writing tests, and fixing bugs.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain existing React systems, including fixing bugs.
2. Design and develop new custom components to meet project requirements.
3. Install and configure server environments for React deployments.
4. Maintain and update project dependencies as well as fix any conflicts.
5. Work with other JavaScript developers and software engineers to develop front-end and back-end architecture that’s well-structured and flexible, along with the APIs to support it.

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, engineering, or a related technical field.
2. Proficient with the latest versions of ECMAScript (JavaScript) as well as HTML and CSS.
3. Knowledge of React.JS (some React-Native) and common tools used in the wider React ecosystem, such as Node.js and npm.
4. Familiarity with common programming tools such as Redux, IDEs, RESTful APIs, Git repositories, TypeScript, version control software, and remote deployment tools.
5. An understanding of common programming paradigms and fundamental React principles, such as React components, hooks, and the React lifecycle.
6. User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
7. Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
8. Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
9. Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
10. Experience with MVC frameworks (Symfony, Kohana, CodeIgniter, Zend, etc.).
11. Extensive experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
12. Relational database skills with MySQL.
13. Experience with building RESTful JSON web services.
14. Knowledge of APIs, such as Twitter, Facebook, Google Maps, Instagram, etc.
15. Understanding of responsive design frameworks such as Bootstrap.
16. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, GitHub, etc.
