Capup Financial Services Private Limited is a growing RBI Registered NBFC (Non Banking Financial Institution) operating in Corpoarte Loans Segment. We assit Startups and Corporates with debt funds via our lending products. With growth in our operations we are looking to hire a Accounts Specialist for the Organisation. The growth and on the job learning opportunities are massive in the Lending Sector and within our organisation. Position Summary: The Accounts Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing various financial and accounting activities within an organization. They play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing financial analysis and reporting. This position requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities:  

  • General Accounting: Perform day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in Financial Reporting: Assist in Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • MIS: Ensures the production of reports, statement of accounts, reconciliations, statements of sourcing, and application of funds.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of various tax returns, including income tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements. Stay updated with tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights on key financial metrics, trends, and performance indicators. Prepare periodic financial reports for management review.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets, ensure accuracy of financial records, and prevent fraud or misappropriation.
  • Compliance and Audit: Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities during audits and inspections. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting and financial operations. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to support financial decision-making and achieve organizational goals.
  Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 3+ years experience.
  • Proven work experience BSFI sector in a similar role, with a focus on general accounting, financial reporting, and compliance is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Indian accounting standards and taxation laws (TDS/GST).
  • Proficiency in accounting software Tally and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred : Relevant experience of 1 to 2 years in similar role in BSFI sector and proficient in ERP: Tally Salary Range : 5-8.00 lacs p.a Location : Bangalore office (JC Road near Bangalore Stock Exchange) Type: On Site Job (we support Hybrid Work)
