General Manager – Catering Dubai We have been retained by this well-established Contract Caterer to find them a GM for this cutting-edge site to be launched later in the year! This exciting job role involves directing & controlling the day-to-day catering operations and providing strategic guidance & direction to ensure that the company achieves its mission and objectives! Experience, skills & attributes needed for this role:

  1. Currently managing the catering facility for a top Independent School at a similar level or number 2, ready for their next step in their career
  2. Experience in the Education sector is hugely beneficial
  3. Able to manage and inspire large teams of staff
  4. Must be able to develop and manage relationships with stakeholders and clients
  5. Demonstrate experience in developing strategic and business plans
  6. Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the business
  7. Strong understanding of finance and measures of performance
  8. Familiarity with legislation affecting education food business and best practices
  9. Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  10. Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  11. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
