Associate Product Manager (Dhan)

We have started with our first step by launching an Investment & Trading platform – Dhan ( in November 2021. As an APM, you'll create exceptional products by understanding customer needs and working across engineering, growth, design, and compliance teams, among others. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical background, data analysis skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities. Initially, the role may require you to work as a product analyst (working with large sets of data, gathering requirements, writing surveys and A/B tests, conducting market research, providing insights on target and potential target customers, etc) before eventually owning up a product domain. This role is best suited for doers who thrive in a fast-paced environment with a lot of ambiguity. While strategy is important, our focus is on rapid execution and delivering tangible results. You'll work directly with founders and customers, so the ability to move quickly from planning to implementation is crucial. Expected Responsibilities:

• Lead customer research to identify gaps and opportunities for product improvement
• Track and analyze product metrics to drive data-informed decisions
• Drive end-to-end product ownership: from customer research and requirement gathering to launch and optimization
• Develop and execute product strategy, including roadmap planning and feature prioritization
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to deliver high-quality products quickly
• Manage product launches and post-launch improvements
• Work closely with marketing to ensure effective product messaging
• Act as a product evangelist, building awareness and representing the product/brand

Expected Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 1-2 years of relevant product management experience (not internships) in a consumer facing internet enabled product/service roles, preferably on financial services
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in defining, driving and shipping mass market internet-enabled consumer products or services, preferably on financial services
• Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets using SQL/Python
