Senior Accountant

BenchMark are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join an impressive and growing accounting practice in Limerick. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to take on a leadership role, managing client portfolios, mentoring junior staff, and driving efficiency in financial reporting and compliance. The Role: Prepare and review financial statements. Manage a portfolio of clients providing expert financial and business advisory support. Oversee corporate and personal tax filings. Conduct Client audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards. Monthly Management Accounts. Supervise, mentor, and support junior accountants and trainees, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Identify and implement efficiencies in accounting processes and client service delivery. Requirements: ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification. Minimum 2+ years PQE in an accounting practice, ideally with client-facing experience. Strong understanding of Irish tax legislation, financial reporting standards, and audit principles. Proficiency in accounting software. Ability to interpret financial data, advise clients, and contribute to business growth. Strong client-facing and team leadership abilities, with a proactive and professional approach.
