As part of our team, youll take a leadership role in managing a diverse portfolio of ambitious businesses while working with a firm that prioritizes professional development and recognizes your expertise. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Team Leadership: Oversee, lead, and mentor multiple audit teams, ensuring the successful delivery of audits while driving staff development and fostering a high-performance culture. Comprehensive Audit Oversight: Manage the planning, execution, and finalization of complex audit engagements, ensuring alignment with auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. Review and Approval of Financial Statements: Critically review and approve financial statements prepared under Irish GAAP/IFRS, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. Client Relationship Leadership: Act as the senior point of contact for key clients, providing strategic insights, addressing complex queries, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction. Business Development and Growth: Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities to expand the firms services, develop new client relationships, and contribute to the firms growth strategy. Process Optimization and Risk Management: Lead the implementation of best practices, identify efficiency opportunities, and ensure robust risk management practices across audit engagements. Your Experience: Professional Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualified, with at least 5-7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in audit, ideally within a top 20 or leading professional services firm. Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in managing, coaching, and developing high-performing audit teams, with a focus on empowering staff and driving team success. Advanced Audit Expertise: A track record of successfully managing large and complex audits across diverse industries, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality results. Client Relationship Excellence: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, effectively manage high-level client interactions, and provide strategic advice. Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of Irish GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards, with the expertise to handle technical complexities and provide thought leadership on emerging industry issues. Strategic Vision: A forward-thinking professional with a proven ability to contribute to the firms overall growth, strategy, and business development initiatives.
