Title: Specialist - Investor Operations Location - Mumbai (Work from Office) About the role: The operations delivery function is at the core of processing every customer’s financial transaction. It links risk management and control processes to help protect the organization’s assets and reputation. Operations staff work closely with the other divisions – as well as external clients (as required) to help facilitate smooth delivery of business and fulfilment. Key Responsibilities under an AIF Operations:
- Managing applications and KYC of new fund investors in GIFT AIF fund
- Liaising with Registrar and Fund administrator for Investment application processing
- Maintaining MIS of investors in the Fund and co-investors in transactions; maintain MIS of pay-outs, and managing pay-outs
- Executing Operational formalities in case of new Fund Launch
- Liaising with Banks and Accounts for tracking Investor funds
- Responsible for preparation & delivery of monthly, quarterly, yearly investor reporting's for funds
- Responsible for coordinating with for all regulatory reporting and compliances in a timely manner by taking assistance from legal and compliance teams of Vivriti Capital
- Responsible for managing investors queries on regular basis
- Preparing & sending newsletter to investors in collaboration with the Investment team
- Reviewing Capital Calls aka, drawdown requests and Investor Statement of Accounts
- Monitoring Investor Payouts and Distributions, Management Fees, Vendor Expenses charged to Fund
- Preparing Fund NAV, Fund master and Investor NAV on quarterly basis
- Preparing the IRR and carry calculation for the Investor and Fund
- Ensure control over the funds collected from the investors and constantly communicating the investors
- Sending periodic communications to Investors i.e. issuing DDNs, Fund confirmation, Statement of Accounts etc,.
- Any Graduate / Post Graduate with 4-5 years’ of relevant experience in AIF / GIFT operations with Asset Management companies, Family office, Registrars, etc,.
- Ability to manage transactional risk exposure across client accounts while processing and subsequent disbursements.
- Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in day-to-day operations.
- Manage transaction processing & technology exceptions from time to time, seek timely intervention and resolution by respective stakeholders.
- Flag issues proactively and ability to foresee outcomes keeping in mind the operational risk framework.
- Conducting policy and process compliance audits, which will include liaising with internal and external auditors if applicable.
- Reviewing & preparing any new major customer contracts or internal business proposals through the operations framework.
- Financial Literacy, understanding of basic P&L, ratios, balance sheet analysis etc.
- Knowledge of AIF, Mutual Fund space, fixed income securities, derivatives.
