UX Researcher - Ecommerce Analytics & Testing

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced UX Researcher to join our ecommerce team, focusing on data analysis and user testing initiatives. This role combines quantitative and qualitative research methods to drive evidence-based design decisions and optimize the customer journey on our ecommerce platform. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute user research studies, including A/B testing, usability testing, and customer journey mapping
- Transform complex data sets into actionable insights for stakeholders
- Develop testing frameworks and methodologies to evaluate user experience
- Analyze user behavior patterns and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with product managers to define research objectives and success metrics
- Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams
- Create and maintain research documentation and testing protocols
- Monitor and report on key user experience metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Statistics, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in UX research, preferably in ecommerce
- Strong background in quantitative research methods and statistical analysis
- Proficiency in research tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Optimizely)
- Experience with user testing tools and methodologies
- Excellent data visualization and presentation skills
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Master's degree in related field
- Experience with SQL and data manipulation
- Knowledge of UX design principles and best practices
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and metrics
- Experience with heat mapping and session recording tools
- Statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
- User testing methodologies
