Experience for Lead AGL - Minimum 15 Years of experience working in AGL (Airfield Ground Lighting) - Design Experience mandatory in 2 Airport Projects Min. Educational Qualification: BE/ B.Tech Electrical Key Responsibilities: 1) AGL System Design: - Lead the design review for airfield lighting systems, including runways, taxiways, aprons, and approach lighting, ensuring operational efficiency. - Review AGL layout plans to optimize visibility and support safe aircraft movements under all weather conditions and operational reliability. - Review AGL systems to incorporate constant current regulators (CCRs), lighting circuits, and advanced control systems. - Define requirements for primary and secondary circuits, ensuring reliability and redundancy. - Ensure designs comply with all aviation standards - Validate lighting system configurations for both precision approach and non-precision airfields. - Validate AGL designs for safety, performance, and regulatory requirements - Incorporate energy-efficient technologies such as LED lighting to improve sustainability and reduce operational costs. 2) Integration with Airport Systems: - Coordinate AGL design with navigational aids, power systems, airfield signage, and control tower systems and control/monitoring systems - Ensure seamless integration with other airfield systems, including signage and electrical networks. - Promote sustainable, energy-efficient design solutions that align with modern airport design practices. - Should have knowledge of softwares pertaining to Electrical design & AGL simulation tools. 3) Technical Specifications, BOQ & Estimation: - Propose cost-effective design optimizations while maintaining safety and compliance standards. - Introduce innovative technologies to enhance system efficiency and lifecycle performance. - Review estimations and ensure accuracy in cost estimations. - Technically & commercially support in Bid evaluations. 4) Design Coordination & Stakeholder management - Collaborate with design consultants, airport operators, and regulatory authorities to align AGL designs with operational needs.
