Job Purpose: This role is responsible for overseeing the preventive and corrective maintenance of the airport’s MV systems and generators to ensure continuous operation. This includes coordinating with all departments and ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained. The role also involves effective management of site activities, equipment, and tools.. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect the functionality of MV distribution and generation equipment under your responsibility, in compliance with established procedures, and take necessary actions to prevent equipment failures. Equipment includes, but is not limited to: MV switchgear, ring main units (RMU), power transformers, diesel generators, control and protection panels for generators, DMC panels, and energy management systems.
  • Ensure uninterrupted electricity supply to all airport facilities, promptly addressing both planned and unplanned power outages.
  • Develop and manage heavy maintenance plans and the yearly budget for spare parts and consumables.
  • Coordinate with other Tibah departments, particularly during emergencies, to resolve issues swiftly and efficiently.
  • Maintain records of faults and ensure they are kept up to date.
  • Track both planned and unplanned power outages and document recovery times.
  • Ensure that as-built drawings are regularly updated.
  • Implement safety and emergency procedures; report abnormal situations or health and safety concerns to higher management immediately.
  • Coordinate with airport night services and operational teams. Work closely with upper management during administrative hours and with the airport duty supervisor during off-hours.
  • Conduct shift inspections to verify the presence of necessary technical notifications.
  • Assume responsibility for the follow-on to the coworkers on the next shift.
  • Manage and monitor reported breakdowns and malfunctions.
  • Supervise the inspection of installations in your charge to assess workforce performance in operations and maintenance.
  • Prepare, proofread, and distribute agendas, minutes, reports, presentations, and other documents for both internal and external meetings.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills: Education : Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical and or Electronics any related degree). Language: English & Arabic. Computer Skills: Advance in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD. Experience:Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in related fields. #J-18808-Ljbffr
