Quantity Surveyor

JASARA PMC is in search of a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of our construction projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of projects, ensuring accuracy in cost reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective budget management. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding project teams and stakeholders toward achieving designated financial goals while upholding the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates and budgets for various construction projects.
2. Evaluate construction contracts and conduct risk assessments.
3. Monitor project progress and costs, preparing necessary financial reports.
4. Conduct site visits to assess project issues relating to costs and contracts.
5. Manage procurement processes and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
6. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
7. Advise project teams on cost-saving strategies and value engineering initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
3. Strong background in cost estimation, contract administration, and project financial management.
4. Proficient in relevant software such as Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
5. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
7. Familiarity with local construction practices and regulations in Saudi Arabia is an asset.
