SGS is hiring "Project Quality Supervisor's" for an Aramco project in the Eastern Saudi Region!

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Quality Supervisor (QA/QC) with 10 years of overall experience within Project Quality Control, 5 years specifically in a supervisory position. This individual will lead the quality management efforts for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, improving quality processes, and leading a team of quality control professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership & Oversight of QA/QC Systems:
    1. Develop and implement comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems tailored to the needs of large-scale construction projects.
    2. Ensure all construction processes, materials, and outcomes meet or exceed the required quality standards, contractual specifications, and regulatory requirements.
    3. Review and approve quality-related documentation, including inspection and test plans, method statements, and non-conformance reports.
  2. Project Quality Control Management:
    1. Oversee the quality control aspects across all stages of construction, from design through completion, ensuring adherence to established quality standards.
    2. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA/QC professionals, engineers, and inspectors to monitor quality performance and resolve quality-related issues.
    3. Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to identify any quality discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  3. Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization:
    1. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the quality management processes and systems, driving changes for better efficiency and effectiveness.
    2. Conduct root cause analysis on quality failures and non-conformances to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

  1. 10 years of experience in QA/QC within large-scale construction projects.
  2. At least 5 years in a supervisory or management role responsible for managing project quality control, including oversight of construction and design quality assurance.
  3. AWS SCWI or CSWIP 3.1 is Mandatory.
  4. In-depth knowledge and experience with QMS (ISO 9001), construction regulations, and quality requirements specific to Saudi Arabia (KSA).
  5. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Equivalent.
  6. Knowledge of applicable ASME, ASTM, API and other Construction International Standards.

Education & Certifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering OR Industrial / Tech college Diploma.
  2. Professional certifications in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, PMP) are highly desirable.
