Invoicing Specialist
Job details
Job Description Support the Operations Management in all day to day activities.
- Coordinate with vendors & sub-contractors to get freight rates and all the costs on the shipment.
- Coordinate with the sales department in order to get the cost for their cost calculation.
- Inform all concerned parties of the shipment schedule/status.
- Handle delivery cargo-related documents and maintain the PODs on file.
- Responsible for order processing and invoicing related to customers.
- Ensure timely dispatch of all invoices to customers.
- Ensure all costs for the job are booked and closed.
- Prepare, maintain, and update documentation of processes to meet account requirements and changes in customer requirements.
- Analyze current ordering, pricing, and planning for improving daily operations to achieve more accuracy, shorten lead times, and standardize processes.
- Address customer complaints regarding invoice-related issues.
- Monitor supplier performance and seek opportunities for cost improvement.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements (OHSAS and Environmental).
- Uphold the BDP “Experience” Vision.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from any stream.
- Minimum of a year experience in freight forwarding; a recognized supply chain or freight forwarding management qualification is advantageous but not required.
- Must be computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
