Job Title: Marketing Manager [Financial Services] Location: Remote in South Africa UK Working Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM (flexible) About our Client: Our client specialises in financial modelling, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and reporting. Their services help businesses quantify decision impacts and achieve desired outcomes. They work across industries, supporting projects such as forecasting & management reporting, fundraising, business valuation, refinancing, cash-flow modelling, project finance, portfolio analysis, and mergers & acquisitions. As the first marketing hire, this is an exciting opportunity to build and shape the marketing function, drive key initiatives, and contribute significantly to business growth.   • Manage and optimise the company website to enhance user experience, organic traffic, and lead generation.
  • Regularly update content, including blogs, service descriptions, and case studies.
  • Conduct keyword research, implement on-page SEO strategies, and track performance to improve search rankings.
LinkedIn Strategy & Engagement
  • Develop and execute a LinkedIn strategy to boost brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Create and manage LinkedIn content (posts, articles, videos) tailored to B2B audiences.
  • Expand the companys network by connecting with key decision-makers, partners, and potential clients.

Content Research & Creation

  • Research trending topics and key issues relevant to our target audience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and client challenges to shape content strategy.
  • Create engaging content, such as blog posts, newsletters, case studies, and infographics.

CRM Management

  • Maintain the CRM system to ensure accurate data collection, lead segmentation, and workflow automation.
  • Design and implement lead nurturing campaigns to move prospects through the sales funnel effectively.
  • Collaborate with sales to ensure smooth lead handovers and alignment between marketing and sales efforts.
  • Use CRM insights to track lead activity, campaign effectiveness, and marketing ROI, providing actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in website management and SEO with measurable results in driving organic traffic and conversions.
  • Strong knowledge of LinkedIn marketing, including content creation, engagement strategies, and lead generation.
  • Ability to research and identify trending topics to inform content strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional audiences.
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset with strong time management and organisational skills.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience managing paid campaigns on LinkedIn or Google Ads.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics).
  • Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva) or marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Background in financial services or experience in a B2B marketing role.
