About the role The Marketing and Communications Officer for Latin America will enhance CDP's visibility and engagement in the region by collaborating with local and global teams to implement integrated marketing campaigns. This role involves supporting the development of regional activation plans that drive top-of-funnel awareness, tailoring tactics to effectively reach local audiences while aligning with global Marketing & Communications strategy. The ideal candidate will leverage skills in public relations, digital marketing, and content production to create impactful materials, manage media relations, and track campaign performance. Fluency in English and Portuguese is essential and Spanish is a plus, along with a commitment to staying updated on marketing and sustainability trends. Who you are

  • Must reside and be eligible to work in Brazil.
  • BA in Communications – Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related areas.
  • Proven first experience in communications, digital marketing, and content production.
  • Creative and strategic mindset with the ability to apply unique ideas to organizational objectives.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a command of English and regional languages (Spanish and Portuguese).
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using digital communication tools and platforms (e.g., email marketing/CRM software, social media scheduling, and analytics tools).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
  • Commitment to continually learning about best practices in marketing and communications, as well as emerging trends and channels.
  • Experience with graphic design and video production a plus.
Your day-to-day
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications Managers in the region to devise and execute integrated activation plans for CDP campaigns that serve Latin America audiences.
  • Develop PR materials, manage local PR agencies, and pitch stories to top-tier media outlets to enhance CDP’s visibility in the region.
  • Support on preparing and briefing senior spokespeople for media interviews and speaking engagements, working with the Media Relations & Spokesperson Engagement team to respond to trending local issues.
  • Ensure CDP's positioning, key messaging, and strategic objectives are well represented in all activations in Latin America.
  • Support our CEO Office team on CEO media profiling and event opportunities in the region.
  • Support on the development of content plans tailored to Latin American audiences across various digital marketing channels, including websites, newsletters, social media, presentations, and video content.
  • Develop briefs for the Content Studio and coordinate with content and brand specialists to ensure alignment with CDP’s messaging and regional audience needs.
  • Partner with the Marketing Performance & Enablement team to monitor and enhance CDP’s Latin America website while considering regional needs.
  • Work with central Marketing teams to provide insights on the Latin America market and audiences, ensure global strategy and planning serves Latin America, and implement regionally focused activity in line with global strategy.
  • Work with campaign managers to adapt and execute centrally managed global marketing activities, such as email campaigns and social media.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align communications efforts with regional priorities and seek feedback on campaign impact.
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and digital channels, and benchmark against industry and regional best practices.
  • Provide translation and localization support.
