  1. Administer human resources policies and programs, balancing employee advocacy and business operating needs.
  2. Promote equity, fair treatment, and positive employee relations and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws.
  3. Promote engagement within the macroregion of Brazil.
  4. Manage full employee life cycle including onboarding, orientation, compensation benefits, employee relations, off-boarding, and HR admin processes.
  5. Support recruitment processes.
  6. Be responsible for communication with a payroll outsourcing company.
  7. Lead migration processes via vendor.
  8. Handle HR admin issues (setting up employee files, completing standard forms letters, and maintaining reports and records), maintain additional agreements, and keep personal folders accurate.
  9. Develop and maintain knowledge of one or more of the following disciplines: Benefits, Compensation, Compliance, EH&S, Leave, Internships, and Wellness.
  10. Maintain current knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations. Issue necessary agreements, policies, and instructions.
  11. Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes.
  12. Support in implementing corporate compensation policy by providing consultations regarding specifics or local legislation. Review common practices of compensation packages in different companies.
What we expect from you:
  1. English speaker, advanced level as a must (communication on a daily basis).
  2. 7+ years experience as an HR generalist.
  3. Proven management experience and strong leadership skills.
  4. Experience with HR matters and employment regulations in Brazil.
  5. Deep knowledge of Labor law.
  6. B.A. or B.S. degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information and data.
  8. Strong organizational and filing skills.
  9. Knowledge of current regulations, payroll statements, and social security payments.
  10. An expert user of the internet with strong tech capabilities is essential.
  11. Good communication and influencing skills.
  12. Ability to work independently.
