About the Role The Senior Azure Engineer (IAM) has to deliver a consistent service experience through reliable, common IT Infrastructure solutions, at agreed service levels and competitive cost per unit, enabling CBUS in achieving its business goals. This role plays a key part in mapping out current and future state of our identity roadmap. Key accountabilities Provide IT systems support, managing incidents and operational issues, and resolving conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment. Manage infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible with a strong focus on infrastructure as Code (Iaa C). Contribute to yearly roadmap planning and implementation for IT services. Previous experience and knowledge in identity management is beneficial - OKTA, Entra AD, MFA, Sail Point. Needs to be able to design and operate solution which improves security posture of the application and platform landscape. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure Dev Ops, O365, Power Shell. Build, deploy, and manage change and deployment processes for infrastructure and applications in Azure. Deployment and operational delivery of IT infrastructure services and Enterprise applications. Eg. SOE, Active Directory, Azure Cloud, collaboration, etc. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's technical capabilities in Azure identity services. Create detailed design and configuration documentation. Deliver high-standard technical infrastructure services, including Active Directory, Azure Cloud, and database management. Experience and Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in IT or related discipline, or strong industry qualifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco). 5+ years' experience in IT, with a focus on senior technical roles and infrastructure platform development. Advanced technical skills in Microsoft tools (Windows Server, SCCM, Active Directory, Azure, Office365) and network technologies (IP, DNS, DHCP). Experience with technology implementation/admin tools: Okta Identity and Access Management, Palo Alto, Carbon Black, Splunk, and Logic Monitor. Knowledge of Privilege Account Management, Dev Ops, and Secure Dev Ops concepts. Familiar with service management tools such as Cherwell, Jira, and Confluence. Strong autonomy, with responsibility for policy formation and key decision-making. Ability to influence IT developments at the highest levels and shape organizational success. Strong business skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and assess the impact of emerging technologies on organizations. Proactive in keeping skills updated and promoting compliance with legislation.
