Position: Head – Chief Executive Officer (Automotive Business) Team - 6 Role – To provide strategic direction to the operations function comprising of Manufacturing, Supply chain, Engineering and Quality with a prime purpose of driving operational excellence and On-time In-Full (OTIF) to fulfil current and future organizational goals. Key Responsibilities –• CEO's primary responsibilities is overseeing the financial performance, including managing the P&L to ensure profitability. This includes driving revenue growth while controlling costs and expenses to maximize EBITDA. • The CEO also focuses on key financial metrics like RONA and ROCE, ensuring that the company’s capital is used efficiently to generate sustainable returns and create long-term shareholder value. • Formulate and execute plans for enhancing operational excellence in order to make sure that revenue and EBITDA goals are met. • Effective management of RFQ and costing is essential for ensuring that the company remains competitive in pricing while maintaining high-quality standards and operational efficiency. • Create a manufacturing layout plant that encourages and promotes the operation excellence approach by combining the existing operations into a cutting-edge manufacturing facility. • Implement the Lean Manufacturing System to make sure that important productivity tools like TPM, TQM, Kaizen, 5S, etc. are adopted in order to deliver parts of First Time Right quality. • Effectively and efficiently managing PPAP and APQP procedures to drive customer sensitivity. • Maintaining healthy business relations with OEM customers and other clients, mapping the requirement and offering the best solutions. • Minimize internal rejection and customer compliance—PPM vs Actual • To equalize production and capacity, optimise CAPEX and OPEX to ensure better return on Capital employed • Lead the dynamic RFQ, pricing, and on-time delivery team to ensure competitive bidding and customer-level delivery, which will significantly increase RFQ conversion at the customer and product delivery on time. • Creation of a skill matrix at all levels for ensuring right talent, capability development, performance enhancement, new product development, talent management, career, and succession planning. • To ensure adherence to safety standards in order to monitor and implement SOPs for safety and provide a safe working environment. • Support and function under the overall direction and control of the Director of Operations in order to ensure that PQCDSM parameters are completely followed within the allocated budget, including compliance to organizational financial and budgetary standards. • Managing the entire logistics and transportation process that the final products are delivered to the customer. • Managing milk runs to control expenses and inventories effectively • Monitoring of commodity-based sourcing strategies to ensure optimal sourcing cost and no loss of production due to shortage of Raw Materials. • Given strategic direction to the quality function to ensure that modern Quality systems and practices are deployed through proper training of Quality tools. • Managing suppliers and inventory levels, managing SCM for optimal sourcing costs, and managing pure variable costs to guarantee a year-over-year decrease in material costs • Assist a strategic direction to the Engineering function to ensure that estimations of RFQ are managed efficiently and effectively to increase the conversion rate, process design are meticulously carried out to ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled in line with quality and customer specs, no rejections take place at customer level and material specs are fully adhered to in sourcing and manufacturing process. Required Candidate profile: • Preferably Mechanical Engineering background from a reputed institute. An MBA or Masters degree in a relevant field such as Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing would be a strong advantage. • Age Range: Ideally, 45–50 years old, with 20–25 years of experience in the Automotive Tier-1 industry. • Proficiency in operations management, especially in Casting, Machining, Cold forging, Heat treatment, Surface Treatment, and other critical production processes in the automobile industry. • Extensive experience with Kaizen, SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Dies), TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), TQM (Total Quality Management), and other approaches to continuous improvement. • Closely working alongside the sales team to convert orders involves not only providing strategic guidance and support but also ensuring that the costing and pricing strategies are aligned with market conditions and profitability goals, enabling the team to effectively close deals while maintaining healthy margins. • Proven track record in manufacturing restructuring initiatives aimed at optimizing production workflows, reducing lead times, and improving overall operational efficiency • High level of Energy with an attitude to get things done. • As a proven Leader, he should be able to attract, retain, and motivate top talent, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the organization. • A leader who has successfully managed multiple plants with operational excellence demonstrates a strong ability to optimize production processes, streamline workflows, and drive continuous improvement across various sites. • A Leader must possess strong engineering product and process design knowledge to ensure that operations are optimized for efficiency, quality, and scalability. • Job type: Full time.
