About the role Cannas Postnatal Care Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As a full-time Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional postnatal care and support to new mothers and their infants. What you'll be doing
- Delivering comprehensive nursing care to postnatal mothers and their newborns
- Monitoring postnatal mothers and their newborns' vital signs, administering medications, and providing medical assistance as needed
- Offering breastfeeding support, counseling, and education to new mothers
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintaining accurate customer records and documentation
- Promoting a safe and comfortable environment for mothers and their families
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Registered Nurse with a valid practicing certificate
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in postnatal or maternal-child nursing
- Strong clinical skills, including expertise in patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality, holistic care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing healthcare needs
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
