Detailed Description

Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in failure analysis, preferably in the electronics industry.
  2. Proven leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of PCB material & processes, PCB assembly processes, electronic components, and failure analysis methodologies.
  4. Hands-on experience with various failure analysis techniques, including micro-sectioning, DnP, X-Ray inspection, SEM/EDX, Strain measurement, ATC, high temperature-humidity storage, mechanical shock & vibration, and electrical testing.
  5. Good knowledge of warpage measurement of big BGA and PCB and its impact to the assembly performance.
  6. Experience in typical defects or failures in PCB, components and PCBA solder joints.
  7. Deep understanding of solder joint reliability testing and fatigue life modelling and prediction.
  8. Proficiency in data analysis and statistical techniques.
  9. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams.
Education: Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science or a related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
