Company Description MM Century is a Waste Management company located in Penang, Malaysia with over 40 years of experience. We provide environmental services to a diverse range of clients, including goods manufacturers. Our goal is to work closely with each client to implement a custom solution that meets their specific recycling needs. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an EHS Executive located in MM Century (Penang Science Park). The EHS Executive will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental health and safety regulations through management. This will involve training and developing staff to maintain high safety and environmental standards. Qualifications

  • Must be a Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWaM) .
  • To consult, plan, and implement sound and effective scheduled waste management practices, including notification, monthly inventory, storage, packaging, labeling, and waste disposal.
  • Must have 2-3 years of working experience in scheduled waste management.
  • Experience and knowledge in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices.
  • To ensure the company’s full compliance with the regulations and requirements of the Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005.
  • Health and safety management skills.
  • Strong understanding of environmental awareness programs.
  • To provide training to operators on scheduled waste handling and safety procedures.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Degree in EHS, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, Risk Management or related field.
