We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investments team at Marsh Mc Lennan. This role will be based in Gurgaon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office Associate Director – Quantitative Developer, Investments We will count on you to:
- Work with multi-asset lead to develop various functional modules for the multi-asset investment processes. Functionality can include greenfield modules, parameterization of utilities, visualization or report creation or optimization functionality.
- Develop financial models and algorithms as part of PCMM for various components of the multi-asset investment process
- Work with Jacobi, FactSet and ADP to develop functionality and verify functionality versus requirements, corrections and gaps.
- Act as module tester for all PCMM functionality before release to SMEs for verification.
- Act as primary functional support to multi-asset users across Mercer, including power users for all PCMM functionality.
- Develop and maintain all functional documentation and user manuals for PCMM
- Minimum 3 years experience in Python and SQL and experience with various frameworks to build robust financial modelling applications
- 3-5 years experience as an analyst or portfolio manager in any asset class, with expertise in quantitative finance across asset classes.
- 3-5 years experience in data visualization software such as PowerBI, Plotly or Tableau.
- Knowledge of mathematics of equity analysis, fix inc analysis, portfolio optimization, risk analysis and performance attribution
- Familiarity with a broad range of financial data such as benchmarks, historic financials, credit, fund structures and portfolio trading
- Exposure to AWS cloud platform, DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines, Snowflake and SQL
- Experience working with databases and APIs to fetch, process and visualize financial data
- Experience in front end development framework such as React would be a plus
- Able to work with solution architects and application developers to design database models that suit application and business needs.
- BE/B Tech from a top tier college and/or master’s in finance / financial engineering / Econometrics / Quantitative Finance
- Prior experience in fiduciary management, asset management with strong understanding of financial instruments.
