Job details
- Product & feature concept development and specification of system requirements for radar products (technology, radar technique, HW-/SW-implementation, Vehicle Integration and Test) within ADAS system products by analyzing stakeholder requirements and defining the optimum system solution according to the ADAS roadmap and market needs.
- Development of a scalable Product System Architecture (Tool IBM Rational Rhapsody) with the decomposition on functional and physical level including consideration of the Technical Safety & Security Concept.
- Derivation to the design specification for the next lower system level and alignment with the requirement engineers, architects and developers in the Electronics, Mechanical, HF, Software & Test domains (Tool IBM Doors).
- Ensure traceability and completeliness of stakeholder requirements over the product design across all system levels.
- Perform the Technical Risk Analysis (System-FMEA, DRBFM, FTA und DFA).
- Support all required type approvals and licenses and the product conformity to legal directives.
- Coordinate the intellectual property activities for internal and external patents.
- Ensure a proper technical product documentation and perform product presentations, requirement analysis and technical negotiations with the customer to support acquisitions.
- Supervise the performance & technical quality of deliverables from suppliers & development partners.
- Dr.-Ing. / Ms.-Ing./ Ing. in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Telecommunication or other similar field of study
- Sound experience in the developmemt of radar sensor, radar technology and radar signal processing
- Professional experience in system architecture design, requirement engineering and technical documentation
- Sound experience with the product development processes in the automotive industry
- Interdisciplinary technical competency, ability to analyze & solve technical problems
- Very good communication skills as well as customer- and quality orientation
