Software Test Engineer

#Hiring Role: Software Test Engineer Location: Bengaluru, KA Mode of work: Hybrid (3days WFO) Key skills: Embedded software, OS like Linux/Android/QNX and server test experience with AWS, GCP systems/services. Responsibilities for this position include: • Technically lead the features (Interacting with Development Leads to bring up the new test plans for c2c features). • Responsible for test development including definition, implementation and automating the tests and support manual and automated testing • Responsibilities also include working with design engineers to analyze and troubleshoot problems, interpreting domain area specifications and product requirements, organizing test results and logging defects into the defect tracking system • Work with both a local lead and remote teams on debugging issues and implementing automotive C2c features. • Creation of new checklists, templates towards the ASPICE process and perform the internal reviews. • Support in identifying the gaps in test areas and process areas and suggest the improvements. • Experience in bringing up embedded platforms for customers and internal Engg releases • Knowledge in API test automation for end-to-end scenarios. • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and team player Mandatory Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 7+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience. or • Master’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience. • Professional work experience in Embedded software, OS like Linux/Android/QNX • E2E product & system test experience including server test experience with AWS, GCP systems and services.
