Technical Project Consultant/manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Consultant to lead and execute iManage projects independently and collaboratively. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, tailored document management solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing customer requirements and project coordination.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:
   1. Independently lead iManage-related projects, collaborating with team members as needed.
   2. Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and user training.
   3. Ensure successful delivery of projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
2. Technical Expertise:
   1. Write and understand basic to complex MS SQL queries.
   2. Utilize API knowledge for seamless application integrations and communication.
   3. Manage and troubleshoot IIS configurations and application communications.
3. Customer Engagement:
   1. Gather requirements directly from customers, ensuring clarity and completeness.
   2. Act as a liaison between technical teams and customers to ensure smooth project execution.
   3. Provide technical recommendations to improve project outcomes.
4. Project Oversight:
   1. Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and report status to stakeholders.
   2. Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and document management best practices.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven 5+ years of experience as Technical Project Manager/Consultant.
3. Proficiency in MS SQL, including writing and understanding complex queries.
4. Strong knowledge of APIs and application communication processes.
5. Experience with IIS setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
6. Excellent written and spoken English for effective interaction with customers and stakeholders.
7. Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
8. Proven track record of independently managing technical projects.
9. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
10. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
11. Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are a plus.
12. Experience in the legal, financial, or professional services industry is an advantage.
