We are seeking a Team Lead - Procurement to lead and optimize operations for one of our prominent e-commerce and logistics-focused subsidiaries. Job Summary The Team Lead - Procurement will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and procuring products from reliable vendors, seeking brand approvals, and developing private label opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with Excel, and a keen understanding of data analysis to make informed procurement decisions. Routine follow-ups with vendors and continuous relationship management are essential aspects of this role. Key Responsibilities
- Identify high-potential products for Amazon, Walmart, and eBay markets based on current trends, market demand, and profitability.
- Analyze sales data, competitor performance, and market insights to select winning products.
- Identify and establish relationships with reliable vendors and manufacturers, both domestically and internationally.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and MOQs (Minimum Order Quantities) with vendors.
- Maintain regular communication and follow-ups with vendors to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve issues.
- Secure brand approvals and manage relationships with authorized distributors.
- Source private label products, including identifying white-label opportunities and managing the product development lifecycle.
- Utilize Excel and other analytical tools to monitor product performance, pricing trends, and profitability.
- Develop and maintain procurement dashboards and reports to track KPIs .
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align procurement efforts with business objectives.
- Support new product launches by ensuring seamless procurement and inventory management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field ( Master’s preferred ).
- 3+ years of experience in e-commerce procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably with Amazon, Walmart, and eBay .
- Proven track record of securing brand approvals and managing private label sourcing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions .
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, FBA, and marketplace compliance requirements.
