Job Overview Dubizzle Labs is expanding its Pakistan engineering office, seeking colleagues who love to learn, perform, and teach. We aim to build a high-quality engineering environment focused on delivering value to customers. The primary responsibility will be to develop world-class suite products supporting the hyper-growth of our businesses in 10 countries.

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases for optimal functionality.
• Contribute to all phases of the development life cycle.
• Develop and deploy new features as necessary.
• Design applications according to specifications.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Maintain, expand, and scale our site.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to operations and activities.

Job Requirements:

The Must-haves:

• 2-5 years of software development experience in Laravel, React/Vue, MySQL, Postgres, and AWS.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development.
• Ability to write good tests and testable code.
• Solid understanding of web application security, session management, and best development practices.
• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and developing web services.

The Nice-to-haves:

• Experience working with Node.js, React, and Next.js.
