Sr. UI and Graphic Designer

Job Description: Alkye, a leader in digital innovation, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UI and Graphic Designer to join our team in Mohali. We're looking for a creative professional who can combine aesthetic sensibility with practical design solutions, staying ahead of the latest trends and meeting client requirements. Seeking those with over 5 years of proven experience in website and app design. Key Responsibilities: Create Visual Concepts: Develop visually compelling graphics, illustrations, and layouts for marketing materials, websites, social media, presentations, and more. Logo Design: Create memorable and impactful logos that reflect brand identity, ensuring scalability and versatility across platforms. Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to the company's branding guidelines and maintain visual consistency across all projects. Mastery of Typography: Choose and apply typography that aligns with brand guidelines, ensuring readability, harmony, and visual appeal in all designs. Understanding of Color Hierarchy: Utilize an in-depth understanding of color theory and hierarchy to create balanced and aesthetically pleasing designs that drive visual impact. Create High-Fidelity Wireframes: Create and refine wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows, ensuring that they are both visually appealing and highly functional. Design Complete User Journeys: E nsuring a seamless and intuitive user experience, and also adapt designs for mobile, tablet, and app interfaces. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with marketing, product, and content teams to understand project requirements and translate concepts into effective designs. Feedback & Revisions: Take feedback from stakeholders and implement necessary revisions to deliver the best possible design. Stay Updated on Trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and design best practices to ensure the company remains visually competitive. Manage Multiple Projects: Handle multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience: 4-5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in a corporate or agency environment. Design Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or other design software. Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and creative work across different media. Attention to Detail: Sharp attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on producing polished, high-quality designs. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design ideas and collaborate with teams. Time Management: Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Motion Graphics: Knowledge of After Effects or other animation tools is a plus but not mandatory.
