Essential Requirements:

• Comfortable working on Zoom the whole shift
• 5+ years of experience in loan processing, preferably with experience in handling complex loan applications and SMSF loans.
• Strong understanding of the loan application process and relevant regulations.
• Proficiency in using loan processing software (e.g., Infinity, Hotspot) and online application platforms (e.g., AOL).
• Processing and valuations: Experience handling real estate transactions,  processing, and ordering property valuations. 
• Bank communication: Proven ability to effectively communicate and follow up with lenders to ensure smooth loan approvals.
• Missing information management: Skilled in promptly identifying and resolving missing information requests.
• MIR resolution: Strong ability to address and resolve missing information requests (MIRs).
• Servicing and service calculators: Familiarity with servicing options and service calculators related to real estate transactions.
• Pricing and valuation tools: Knowledge of pricing and valuation tools used in the real estate industry.
• Credit checks and reports: Experience conducting credit checks or working with Equifax reports.

About the role The Senior Loan Associate plays a crucial role in the loan application process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion. This role involves handling complex loan applications, including SMSF loans, from initial data gathering through to settlement handover. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple priorities effectively. Primary Responsibilities: Data Gathering and Entry:

• Collect and meticulously input data for complex loan applications, including SMSF loans.
• Review and organize submitted documents.
• Regularly update information in the Hotspot system.
• Verify and complete member details within the Infinity system.
• Proactively follow up and obtain missing or incomplete documents.
• Securely save and manage all relevant documents on Google Drive (Commencement).

Application Completion:

• Accurately complete the Statement of Advice (SOCA) and Application Online (AOL) forms.
• Ensure  ​​​​​​ consistency and accuracy of data between the Infinity system and AOL (Handover).

Application Submission:

• Submit loan application forms via AOL, obtaining necessary broker consent.

Addressing MIRs (Missing Information Requests):

• Assist brokers in promptly addressing MIRs from lenders.
• Verify information with lenders and diligently pursue outstanding documents.

Settlement Handover:

• Ensure all necessary information and documentation are handed over to the settlements team upon formal loan approval.

Valuation and Pricing:

• Initiate requests for property valuations and loan pricing.
