Role Overview: We are looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager based in Mumbai to drive corporate and private event bookings for our Sip & Paint experiences. This person will be responsible for lead generation, outreach, and client relationship management. While their primary focus will be on sales and partnerships, they will also coordinate event logistics to ensure smooth execution. You will be working directly with the founder. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Business Development (80%)
- Identify and reach out to potential corporate clients, HR teams, event planners, and high-end venues.
- Develop partnerships with restaurants, co-working spaces, lifestyle brands, and event agencies to drive consistent bookings.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of corporate leads through LinkedIn outreach, networking events, and direct sales efforts.
- Convert inbound inquiries into long-term corporate relationships and repeat business.
- Develop and execute a B2B sales strategy to expand our footprint in Mumbai and other target cities.
- Manage and optimize CRM and sales tracking to measure outreach and inbound effectiveness.
- Raise invoices and finalize event bookings, ensuring smooth payment processes.
- Collect feedback from clients post-event to improve experience and drive repeat business.
- Liaise with the operations team and artists to ensure events are well-organized and meet client expectations.
- Coordinate logistics like venue setup, artist scheduling, and material procurement for all events.
- Work closely with restaurant and venue partners to streamline event execution and ensure smooth guest experiences.
- 2-5 years of sales experience in B2B, corporate events, hospitality, or experiential marketing.
- Strong network in corporate HR, event planning, and hospitality sectors.
- Experience in cold outreach, LinkedIn lead generation, and partnerships.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive in closing deals.
- Comfortable with light operational coordination to ensure event success.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently and drive revenue growth without heavy supervision.
- Experience with CRM systems and data-driven tracking of sales performance.
- Prior experience in corporate gifting, wellness programs, or team-building activities.
- Exposure to hospitality, lifestyle events, or brand collaborations.
- Fixed salary + performance-based incentives (commission per corporate deal closed).
- Opportunity to grow into a national sales leadership role based on performance.
- Mumbai-based (on-ground role, must be comfortable meeting clients, attending events in person and travelling to different cities as and when required).
