About the Role As a Solar Technical Sales Consultant, you’ll bridge the gap between technical expertise and customer solutions. You’ll assist the sales team in system design, tender processes, and troubleshooting, ensuring the highest quality in project execution. Timings: Australian business hours Responsibilities
- Assist in solar system design, cost estimation, and proposal development.
- Identify and respond to solar tender opportunities, managing the entire bidding process.
- Provide technical training to the team to enhance knowledge and address skill gaps.
- Utilize PV Syst, OpenSolar, and other design tools to optimize solar solutions.
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical escalations and issue resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills - essential.
- Proficient with AutoCAD - desired
- Experience in proficiently using AI for workflow and documentation
- A graduate in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
- Experience in large-scale/commercial solar projects is highly desirable.
- Proficient in solar design tools (PV Syst, OpenSolar, AutoCAD, other Power System Analysis software such as ETAP or Power Factory).
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills.
