Data Protection & Privacy Consultant

My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for a Data Protection & Privacy Consultant to join a growing team on a permanent position. This role will be hybrid working. Job Responsibilities Assist in implementing Data Protection regulations and standards within organizations. Develop policies, processes, and procedures to support compliance with Data Protection regulations. Conduct breach investigations, incident response initiatives, and deliver training & awareness programs. Support teams in conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments for business changes and new technologies. Help organizations integrate Data Protection systems and tools effectively. Experience Required 510 years of experience in a Data Protection, Privacy, or compliance role. Knowledge of technology, information security, risk management, and corporate governance. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to analyze complex information and identify key insights. Experience in project management is beneficial. 510 years of relevant experience in Data Protection or Privacy. Essential and Desirable Skills 510 years of experience in a Data Protection, Privacy, or compliance role. 510 years of relevant experience in Data Protection or Privacy. Educational Requirements A relevant third-level qualification (e.g., law, computer science, cybersecurity, information management, privacy engineering). At least one of the following certifications: CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, CDPO, or a Law Society qualification. ISO 27001 certification (desirable).
