Head of Sustainability - Healthcare This organisation seeks a dynamic & visionary to define & shape their sustainability vision & strategy. A standalone role which is crucial in driving their initiatives in (ESG), (CSRD), & achieving Net Zero goals. The Head of Sustainability will define & shape the Vision & Strategy for this medical environment, to deliver on ESG, CSRD, & Net Zero targets, across every function. You will work cross-functionally to integrate sustainability to meet targets & contribute positively to the environment & society. Key Responsibilities: Vision & Strategy Development: To define, develop, & implement a comprehensive sustainability vision & strategy ESG Leadership: Lead & manage ESG initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant standards & driving continuous improvement in environmental & social performance. CSRD Compliance: Oversee compliance with CSRD, ensuring accurate & transparent reporting. Net Zero Roadmap: Develop & implement a roadmap to achieve Net Zero emissions, working closely with all departments to monitor progress & make adjustments. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with different depts to embed sustainability into all aspects of the hospital's activities. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with int/external stakeholders, including staff, patients, suppliers, community, to promote & advance sustainability initiatives. Performance Monitoring: Establish & monitor sustainability KPIs, providing regular updates to Board. Innovation & Best Practices: Stay informed about latest technologies & best practices in sustainability, & apply to improve sustainability. Qualifications: Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sci, Business or related field. Master's/ relevant professional cert preferred. Exp: Min of 10 years in a sustainability-related role, proven record of leading & implementing sustainability initiatives. Strong understanding of ESG, CSRD, & Net Zero principles & practices. Excellent project mgt. & organisational skills. Work independently & collaboratively in cross functional teams.
