Health & Safety Officer

Our client, based in East Cork, requires a Health and Safety Officer to join their production facility. You will be joining a multi national company that is expanding and requires a qualified and experience health and safety officer to join the H&S team. Do you have a Health and Safety qualification? Do you have 2 years experience as a health and safety officer in a production facility? OR are you a trades person who has studied H&S and you are looking to move off the tools in to a permanent H&S position? Your duties will include: Provide operational and process safety support to agreed operational areas Promote reporting of incidents, safety concerns, near misses and ensure appropriate assessments and oversight of these in terms of corrective and preventative actions. Lead process, task and equipment risk assessments Provide and coordinate health and safety training in a systematic way Support safety investigations throughout the site Conduct safety inspections, report findings and continuously improve the Site safety management systems Develop company's Safety Management System.
