Qualified Accounting Technician / Part Qualified Accountant Office based Galway (Ballybrit) €38 46k DOE + bens The Company Our client was founded in Galway and are a family run Irish retailer operating nationwide, as well as a full online shopping experience offering delivery throughout Ireland. Our client currently employs over 380 people. This role has been created due to growth in the business. Job Responsibilities: Complete Month End Reconciliations, including Bank, Credit Card payments and suppliers. Maintain Fixed Asset Register for multiple companies. Prepare Month End journals. Complete Intercompany Reconciliations. Liaising with Internal Stakeholders on various queries. Preparation of CSO and other statutory reporting requirements. Assist with Monthly Management Accounts preparation along with Month End and Quarter End reporting. Assist with preparation of Year End audit. Prepare VAT, Vies and Intrastat reports when due by Revenue. Ad-hoc duties to be performed as and when required. Skills/Qualifications: Qualified Accounting Technician/Part Qualified Accountant desirable Knowledge and experience in using an accounting software Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Excel and Word The candidate should be a high-energy individual with excellent organisation skills and strong attention to detail Key attributes also necessary include efficient work methods, working both as part of a team and on own initiative and good interpersonal skills Skills: 'Accounting Technician' 'part-qualified' 'accounting' 'month-end' Benefits: Paid Holidays Parking Pension Educational assistance Bonus Staff discount
