Assists Training Manager in identifying, evaluating, designing, developing, and delivering all training requirements for MPC’s new multi-national workforce. Position will work closely with JV Parent Company training departments; Construction Contractor’s training departments, external domestic and international vendors, and accredited universities and trade schools to provide assistance in the design and development of program content and materials. Providing assistance in recruiting/staffing of all experienced training department staff is onboard, and required training materials consist of a multitude of training delivery methods from classroom, simulators, on-the-job (OJT), group instruction/demonstrations, vendor training, apprenticeship programs, and in-house (OJT) at JV Partnership operating facilities. Ensures MPC’s new multi-national workforces have the required knowledge, skills, and competencies to carry out the work required of them in achieving the duties of their respective jobs. Key Duties and Responsibilities General Management
  • Assists in designing, developing, and delivering specific training programs to ensure the new multi-national workforce is qualified to perform their respective jobs in a safe manner.
  • Ensures Training Department team identifies and evaluates training needs for all levels of MPC operation and conducts targeted training courses to meet the training needs of all facilities' employees.
  • Assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining the training policy, methods, and procedures based on knowledge of the effectiveness of particular methodologies such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, on-the-job training, demonstrations, etc.
Training Programs Design and develop training and development programs to meet the training needs identified that support the achievement of business objectives. In coordination with the Senior Management, implement customized training and development programs that improve organizational effectiveness and capabilities across the entire workforce and meet the business challenges.
  • Identify training resources and training plans, and ensure core job skills and orientation training programs are in place.
  • Ensures training manuals, materials, and equipment acquired or developed by the Training Department are maintained and updated regularly.
Additional Training: Certificate in Communication Skills and/or Training Methodology is preferable. Experience 4+ years of varied experience in Technical and Industrial training activities.
