Job Brief: To direct the provision of the complete range of computer and network services required by DTVC and provide general support for all hardware and software related issues to ensure effective utilization of information systems and internal customer satisfaction. Main Accountabilities:

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Implementation of Strategy

Implements the IT strategies in line with the Company strategy to ensure that IT provides the required services to Business Lines at acceptable levels.

Day-to-day Activities

Plans, organizes, and prioritizes own work to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently within set deadlines.

IT Infrastructure

  1. Responsible for providing end-user IT support including a portfolio of software and hardware products.
  2. Manages evaluation of new products, equipment ordering, and installation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of information flows.
  3. Keeps the infrastructure available: computers, networks, and telecommunications.
  4. Takes measures for the security of infrastructure and plans fallbacks/recovery options.
  5. Conducts start-up training and ongoing user assistance.
  6. Works closely with users, IT management, and vendors to assure the availability and compatibility of services.
  7. Coordinates with website developer on the technical aspects of the DTVC website set-up and maintenance to ensure the site’s availability.

ERP Support

  1. Develop an in-depth understanding of the company’s Business Processes and standard operating procedures.
  2. Supervise the delivery of Oracle Cloud ERP.
  3. Prepare and manage supporting documents and user manuals.
  4. Ensure ERP compliance with government and industry standards.
  5. Manage licenses and contract renewals.
  6. Develop specifications for new requirements and work with internal and external entities to realize them.
  7. Log and track service requests and incidents.
  8. Provide full support to IT Department.

IT Support

  1. Provides standard end-user support and troubleshooting to ensure availability of support and user satisfaction.
  2. Contributes to the development and modification of the network/system and its various components.
  3. Collects data, performs analysis, and suggests improvements on usage, disruptions, and problems.
  4. Works with Management and the Business / Service lines to update the website on an ongoing basis, providing them with advice and training on the technical aspects of content and design.

Continuous Improvement

Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of IT systems, processes, and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.

Reporting

Prepares section reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet Company and section requirements, policies, and standards.

Safety, Health & Environment

Complies with all relevant safety, health, and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.

Qualifications:

Academic and professional qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management of Information Systems. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in IT business, incorporating a minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Cloud (Fusion). A strong background in ERP financials, purchasing, and HR.

Languages:

Minimum English language required is IELTS – 5. Fluent Arabic language is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
