Duties And Responsibilities

The duties include but are not limited to:
  1. Coordinate initial period of familiarization progressing to turnaround preparation activities like tagging, scaffolding, insulation removal, spades identification, spare identification.
  2. Carry out site surveys and prepare drawings and documents for turnaround preparation works.
  3. Liaise with various agencies including Qatar Energy's contractors, subcontractors, inspections, planning, job officers, specialists, HSE, and materials during turnaround execution to expedite turnaround progress through close follow-ups and monitoring.
  4. Minimize inter-agency handover/job switching time by improving coordination between them to fast-track job completions and the entire turnaround.
  5. Proactively identify areas of concern and discuss the same with the turnaround planning coordinator with necessary recommendations.
  6. Coordinate, monitor, and ensure hand-over and takeover of turnaround maintenance activities between Operations and contractors for turnaround jobs.

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering (Instrument)

Experience

  1. The candidate shall have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience, with at least four (4) years in petrochemical/oil and gas/fertilizer plant turnaround field supervision experience, primarily in control valves and other field instrument experience for instrument engineers.
  2. The candidate shall be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. He shall be computer literate and familiar with MS Word and MS Excel. He shall be able to work under his own initiative. The job entails a high percentage of time on site.
  3. Shall pass PTW or ePTW as specified by Mesaieed Operations Qatar Energy HSE as required.
