Our client is a global construction company who has been operating in the Middle East for over 50 years. During this time, they have delivered some of the largest projects in the world, over multiple sectors, including Hospitality & Tourism, Oil & Gas, and Real Estate. Our client is currently seeking CSA Design Managers to join them on a prestigious Hotel Project in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting in developing Design Delivery Schedule.
- Negotiating with consulting firms and securing the design from a consultant design partner from initial tender enquiry to appointment.
- Collaborating on new design issues/changes and research projects with the team.
- Reviewing the completed design ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Managing design document control and prioritizing design, assignment, and management to designers.
- Leading with effective supervision an experienced design team to ensure delivery on schedule and that project milestones are met.
- Participating in departmental strategic planning, design meetings, and providing continual input to optimize design and minimize futile work.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Architectural, Civil or Structural engineering background is essential.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Construction industry.
- Project management experience across all design phases (design fees time/cost management).
- Proven experience managing small teams.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Pride in the quality and presentation of work.
