Student Engagement Coordinate and assist the Graduate Research Student Society (GRSS) in executing their workplan and events. Collaborate and coordinate with the Office of Alumni Relations to support the Graduate Research Alumni Chapter (GRAC) in organising events to promote collegiate identity amongst the alumni. Promote and maintain a positive working relationship with current students and alumni to foster collaboration. Assist in administering the annual Graduation Exit Survey and its reporting. CGRS Events Assist in organising and executing CGRS events such as the Graduation Lunch, Onboarding & Orientation, and Annual Kick-off & Awards Ceremony. Assist in organising the annual Singapore Rising Scholars Conference (SRSC) and Rising Scholars Fellowship Programme (RSFP). Assist in coordinating the SMU Presidential Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) and Interdisciplinary Doctoral Fellowship (IDF) Awards, and Outstanding Graduate Supervisor Award (OGSA). Design EDMs for events and work with the CGRS marketing team to promote these events via various platforms. Work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of CGRS events. CGRS Residences Be the assistant point of contact for CGRS Residences at SMU Hostel - Prinsep Street Residences (PSR). Assist in organising various programmes and events at the CGRS Residences to promote collegiate identity amongst CGRS Residents. Assist in administering the yearly application process with SMU Housing Office. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS University degree with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience. Prior experience and understanding of the tertiary education landscape would be an advantage. Experience in organising student activities and events management would be essential. Able to design event marketing collaterals using design applications (Canva). Good communication (both written and spoken) and interpersonal skills. Strong organisation and execution skills, and an eye for detail. Ability to multitask and prioritise workload while ensuring the quality of service. A team player who is able to work interdependently in a cross-functional environment.
