Key Responsibilities:

Educational Leadership:
- Provide visionary leadership for the Secondary School, ensuring the implementation of a dynamic and forward-thinking curriculum.
- Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and student-centered learning.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the school leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the school's mission and goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of the Secondary School curriculum, ensuring alignment with British educational standards.
Encourage the integration of technology and 21st-century skills into the curriculum.
Staff Development:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of dedicated teachers and support staff.
- Provide professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and learning strategies.
Student Welfare:
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students.
- Implement effective pastoral care programs to address the holistic development of each student.
Parent and Community Engagement:
- Collaborate with parents and the wider community to build positive relationships and enhance the school's reputation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders through regular updates, meetings, and events.
Budget Management:
- Manage the Secondary School budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support educational goals.

Qualifications and Requirements:

A relevant degree in Education or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications are desirable.
Extensive experience in a leadership role within a British curriculum-based international school.
Strong understanding of British educational standards and the ability to implement effective teaching and learning practices.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record in strategic planning and implementation.
Familiarity with the Qatari education system and cultural context is an advantage.
