About the job: Position: Business Development Specialist Location: Khobar, Saudi Arabia At Total Safety, business development is key in order to penetrate markets and spread the word about Total Safety’s products/services and understand how we can satisfy our customers’ needs. We are currently looking for an experienced and versatile Business Development Specialist who has the knowledge on how to evaluate a region/country and conduct market research in order to develop a strategic approach for sales & business development. Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Generating new business leads.
  2. Identify key customers and develop strategic plans across different industries.
  3. Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks.
  4. Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  5. Track and monitor accounts, targets, and transactions.
  6. Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
  7. Evaluate and optimize sales, marketing, and pricing strategies.
  8. Analyse market trends and prepare forecasts.
  9. Increase brand awareness and market share.
  10. Support on marketing strategies, programs, and campaigns.
  11. Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about business development plans, strategies, and budgets.
  12. Attend client meetings, deliver presentations to customers, including site visits, as and when required.
  13. Attend marketing/business development events such as conferences, exhibitions, etc.
  14. Prepare sales account plans, proposals, cost sheets, and quotations for clients, as and when required.
  15. Monitor & analyse metrics (e.g. monthly, quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  16. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and/or annual reports to senior management.
  17. Set, track, and achieve business development targets, aligned with company objectives.
  18. Provide support and coordinate strategies with sales, finance, operations, and other departments.
  19. Coordinate internally with other departments to produce effective strategies.
  20. Work as a team and ensure necessary actions are undertaken in a timely manner.
  21. Lead, support, and train other members of the team, as and when required.
  22. Develop positive relationships and handle customers’ needs.
  23. Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
  24. Complete administrative work, as and when required.
Qualifications & Skills:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in sales or business development or related degree is preferred.
  2. At least 3 years’ experience in related field.
  3. Must have strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  4. Must have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  5. Must have knowledge of CRM software and MS Office.
  6. Must be a self-directed individual, capable of working with minimal supervision.
  7. Good knowledge of business development strategies.
  8. Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
  9. Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  10. Metrics-driven mind with an eye for creativity.
  11. Experience/skills in marketing or branding is a plus.
  12. Proven experience with technology and networking platforms.
  13. Willingness and ability to travel.
