The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the building maintenance team and ensuring the effective operation of the facility. Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive maintenance strategies, planning and scheduling maintenance activities, managing budgets, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. The manager will supervise staff and contractors, coordinating both preventive and corrective maintenance to uphold the functionality, safety, and compliance of the building. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the building maintenance team.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize maintenance strategies and programs.
  • Plan and schedule regular maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage and control the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Supervise and coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance work.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance procedures to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor the performance of the building systems and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in facility management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in facility maintenance management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
