Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and managing endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid diseases, and hormonal imbalances.
- Providing treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle changes.
- Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Keeping accurate and updated patient records, including assessments and treatment outcomes.
- Participating in case reviews or multidisciplinary meetings as necessary.
- A degree in medicine (MBBS or equivalent) and a specialization in endocrinology (Board certification in endocrinology or an equivalent qualification).
- Experience in diagnosing and treating various endocrine disorders.
- Ability to interpret diagnostic tests such as blood tests, MRIs, and ultrasounds relevant to endocrinology.
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain complex medical conditions to patients.
- Typically, part-time doctors work a limited number of hours per week (e.g., 10-20 hours), depending on the clinic or healthcare facility's needs.
- Flexibility in working hours is often a key benefit of part-time positions. Scheduling may depend on patient volume, clinic hours, and the doctor’s availability.
