Full job description

We are searching for a skilled and passionate individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Cook and Cashier. As a cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals, following recipes and culinary standards. The ideal candidate should possess excellent cooking skills, a keen eye for detail, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The cashier will deal directly with customer calls and walk-ins, so candidates should have good communication skills. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including main courses, appetizers, and desserts, following established recipes and portion sizes.
2. Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to high-quality standards, both in terms of taste and appearance.
3. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards.
4. Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the kitchen manager or supervisor.
5. Collaborate with other members of the kitchen staff to coordinate cooking and packing times.
6. Follow all rules and guidelines provided by the kitchen manager or supervisor.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a cook.
2. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
3. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
4. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
5. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
6. Flexibility to work in various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
8. Background in customer service.
9. Familiarity with POS systems.
